Sierra Norte Advisory, LLC provides nonattest advisory and compliance support — including Act 60 compliance, tax compliance advisory, estate coordination, federal funds compliance readiness, internal controls advisory, and fraud readiness.
The two entities operate under separate engagements, with distinct billing, professional responsibilities, and client relationships. A shared intake and referral process coordinates inquiries to the appropriate entity based on the nature and scope of each matter. Visiting this website or submitting an inquiry does not create a professional relationship with either entity.
The Founder
Agustín J. Soto Pérez
Attorney · CPA
Agustín J. Soto Pérez is an attorney and certified public accountant (CPA) based in Puerto Rico. His professional background spans law, public accounting, and government audit and compliance — a combination that is uncommon in private professional-services practice.
Prior to founding Soto Professional Group, he developed firsthand experience in government audit, internal controls, and regulatory compliance through work with the Office of Inspector General. That perspective — understanding how government agencies, auditors, and compliance reviewers evaluate documentation, internal controls, and adherence to applicable standards — informs how he approaches client matters today.
He founded Soto Professional Group to deliver coordinated legal and advisory services — through two separate professional entities — to individuals, businesses, nonprofits, and government-related entities in Puerto Rico navigating complex legal, tax compliance, and regulatory matters.

Sierra Norte Advisory, LLC provides nonattest advisory and compliance support — including tax compliance advisory, Act 60 compliance support, estate advisory coordination, federal funds compliance readiness, internal controls advisory, and fraud readiness. Advisory services are scoped separately from legal work and do not constitute legal advice.
